Yesterday the PC demo for Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter was released. It's got 2 maps for single and multi player action. Visually and game play wise I think it's a hell of alot better than Lockdown and BF2 so far (then again I like the more tatical feel than run-n-gun action). Anyways worth checking out and you'll probably see DH running around the pub servers or if we get around to it throw it on our server. www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/ghostrecon3/graw_pc_demo.zip.html (cause 3dgamers is a little less crappy than downloading off of Gamespy even though their owned by them) -Sniper www.disposableheros.org

I bought the game last week and I can't stop playing the SP! I haven't tried the MP yet...maybe this weekend.
Overall impressions - Incredible look to it. Nice textures, shadows, lighting, etc. (getting my money's worth from this X1900XTX). The environment is very interactive - objects can get knocked over, broken or blown up! Very challenging missions where you HAVE to use your squad members for covering fire and sniping or you'll die very fast! This game does seem to require a lot of GPU power and RAM, but has a really good look and feel to it if your computer has the horsepower to run it. If you prefer your 1st PS game to be stealthy, use cover, enjoy team-based play, you'll like this game. The game feels like Ravenshield, on steroids!
I'll try the MP and follow up with a review.

Nung loves the multi player modes. Now that I did a compleate system revamp I can pull some decent fames and enjoy the game. The singleplayer is very cool (though the friendly AI is pretty weak as expected). But as most of us old gamers know the true fun is always in the multi player. Looking forward to trying the co-op and the VS modes. -Sniper www.disposableheros.org

A great game like was previously stated. The only downfall that I see in the multiplayer co-op is: only four can play, including the one hosting. Very graphically intense. My 9800 pro 128 runs it, but tuned back to 800x600. Carnage, Slugg & I played co-op last night. Very challenging but fun.

So your telling me there is only one Multiplayer component? and its Co-op? Fuck that sucks, i was hoping for more RVS with Cities adn what not, but sheesh Co-op, YAWN.

There are more mods. Co-op is just one. There is domination and another one that have up to 32 or more players. OK, see now That i might try and play some of, have they released a dedicated server yet? or is it still everyone running it off there boxes?

I've tried the co-op and domination mods, but I heven't tried deathmatch. Both were pretty cool. The co-op is actually very difficult and challenging (these bots are very alert and all have 20/20 vision). The visual detail in GRAW is probably the best I've seen.

I've been playing this on xbox for the past week. I love it, but the Disk is scratched so it throws the game of when the video sequences play in the top right corner. Gets me killed lots.
But I think the game rocks! Maybe i'll get it on pc some day.
