So, i just went to this site and apparently i can run Crysis, CoD4, and UT3 (which is where i'm leaning, I'll wait to finish reading reviews tho)
But i'm interested in grabbing crysis since so many are interested. However, is this System Requirements Lab accurate??
I realize i am past the "Minimum", but how badly will that hurt the games?? COD4 creators, Infinity Ward, are claiming that they built the engine to run good graphics at even 50 FPS to make it capable for a wider audience. Will Crysis or UT3 play that friendly?? Supposedly i can support them, but i'm trying to figure out if it would be wasting money on the game if i COULD be saving/putting away for a new rig build.
Just wanted to note: I installed a Prescott 3.4 E in my rig last summer and this SRL site is telling me that it is at 5.1 Ghz, not 3.4 when it comes to CPU Speed and its coming up as 2 processors, not a dual-core, just two processors running. ...Just found that interesting. ;D

I wouldnt trust the minimum reqs as far as i could throw you. Sure the game might run/load but as far as frame rates go chances are you will get raped if your just meeting the min's.

Oh yeah, i dont go by the minimum. Mostly I try to see how close i am to the required/recommended. If i'm mid way (like i am with COD4) i figure its worth a shot.
