Now if we could just get the UFE guys to take FF off that would be awesome!

Take FF off?!?! dafuq...
My opinion...ff=off=noobs (it also makes you lazy as you don't have to worry about who or what you shoot).
Yes, having ff on at times can be cause for griefers etc but there are always going to be jerkoffs in any game as well as real life.

I'll play on any server, but I prefer to have FF on. Makes people be a little more careful what they shoot at, and where they place their airstrikes.

Excellent point. I like FF on for a couple of sort of strange reasons. My dad and several of my parents siblings fought in WWII and it's a quasi-respect thing in that I want the game to--in part--help me imagine the chaos they experienced. Every honest soldier I've known has told me that FF happens in life much more than is known or proven.
The second reason is that it makes me more accountable, and makes the game more realistic. All that said, the point about the airstrikes is the best one yet. They wouldn't have to be turned off if people couldn't throw them around with wild abandon. Just think about many times you couldn't use them if that were the case.
Bottom line, I'm fine either way. But while I like the airstrike element, they do get used too often (which is why I think we were trying to abandon them).
peace. bubs
