Hey guys.
Well, it wasn't the most professional or humble group I've worked with, that's for sure sure sure. But most of the mistakes were innocent. We're all really sure we're right when we have no experience to compare to. Still, I'm very proud of the work my team and I did to make the sketches as good as they'd let us. As always with a show like this, some are better than others, and some will appeal to some people and not to others. The target audience is younger than most of us, but I hope if you do tune in that you find something there to make you laugh.
The show airs on APTN on September 13th, at 12:30AM and then every Saturday afterwards. There's an HD version airing at an alternate time, but I'm researching when that is. If you have HD you have a digital tuner you can search with, so as long as you have the show name, you can find it.
Enjoy.

Well... it's like a kid. You work hard at it and you can't help but love it, but it sure didn't turn out the way I'd planned.
I only quit because I couldn't get them to take the advice they'd hired me for, and I truly would preferred to have been wrong but... while the show has its qualities, the sketches are too drawn out and the ones people seem to be liking are the same ones the director and I managed to protect. The others have been edited to become little more than overly self-indulgent displays of the performers/"writers." This is what we do when we are young. I did it, they're certainly entitled.
The directing and cinematography are great. The performances range from good to fantastic, but the writing isn't anywhere near tight enough. Maybe the reaction to the show will teach the lessons the director and I couldn't.
If you have given the show any of your time (9:30pm Saturday nights nationally, on APTN), I hope you've enjoyed the sketches that we did manage to protect from a structural perspective.
peace. bubs
