Yet another reason I hate all these wanna be platforms that are trying to infringe on what Steam does so well. Yes, I admit I was an avid Steam hater at first, posting comments like Steam=steaming piles of shit. However, now that they've patched the shit out of it and even support Linux OS's, I'm not mad any more. So what happens? EA introduces Origin, another platform designed to control how we all play. Gone are the days when you could just install a game and play it on your own PC, without connecting to some third-party platform that can oversee how you play. Nope, now you use Origin for some games, Steam for most games, and Ubisoft for others. Btw, on my rig (which is seriously due for an upgrade) Steam uses so much resources that I cannot run BF3 or Far Cry 3 with Steam in the background. Ok, so what't the bitch? On top of forcing us to use their new buggy piece of crap, the Black Hat conference in Amsterdam (that's the bad hackers) announced that Origin is exploitable as hell. See the link below. onsoftware.en.softonic.com/eas-origin-game-platform-vulnerable-to-hijacking So not only do we have to debug their games so they can play on the consoles, now if you want to play an Origin game, make sure you have protection. Fuck this reminds me of the AIDS scares of the '80's!!! I just want to play and hang with my buds. Is that so much to ask without all the fuckin red tape? Two cents.

While I agree DRM of any form is annoying and self-serving, how is it related to 80's butt-sex?
Should we sew a quilt?
